This garden evolved and developed over several years. The process included an extensive design program with a two phase implementation including the rear garden and front entry. From the beginning, the influence behind the design program was, first a desire to express the European culture that the homeowners carried. Secondly, the desire to provide a garden that facilitated functions of a strong family and the entertainment of friends. Of course the existing features of the site, both the home and the land, set the parameters in which these goals could be met.
